I’d like to share this with you.\n  \nDiego Sanchez Teaches shiatsu as a form of energy healing in the US\, Europe and South America. Formerly on the team of Dr. Mehmet Oz\, a heart surgeon at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NYC\, he practiced shiatsu on open-heart surgery patients in the ICU and on rescue workers at Ground Zero during 9-11.  He trained extensively with healers and shamans of different traditions. Friday 23/3 evening lecture – (can be done independently from the rest of the course).\nENERGY AWARENESS EXERCISES + GROUNDING THROUGH THE ROOT CHAKRA\nGROUNDING is our capacity to relax with the confidence that we are being supported underneath by the Earth. It’s also to feel rooted\, stable\, confident\, solid.\nIn this class we’ll do simple exercises to activate the Root Chakra\, the gateway to connect to the energy of the Earth in our body\, in a way that will give you a direct experience of how grounding feels.\nOpen to the general public. Saturday 24/3 (9AM-5PM)\nINTERNAL BODY MECHANICS + identifying your natural way of perceiving energy.\nIn this class we’ll explore how intuitive information is usually received and we’ll connect with the specific way that each participant does spontaneously. Each student will work directly with the teacher\, helping you enhance your natural skills and develop new ones.\n\n  \nFEELING: Vibrational/Touch information.\nFeeling is a vital function that allows us to connect us to the world in vibrational terms. “Gut feeling” is a specific kind of intuition that is controlled from the Second Chakra.\n\n  \nHEARING: Auditive/ verbal information.  \nHearing or receiving intuitive information through sounds\, music\, rythms or words is a function regulated by the Fifth Chakra.\n\n  \n\nSEEING:  Visual information.\nImages\, signs\, symbols\, streams of movement\, auras\, daydreams\, visions\, etc.\, are pieces of intuitive information that we capture through our peripheral vision and the Third Eye.  We will explore the relationship of visual information and the Sixth Chakra.\n  \n\n \n\nKNOWING: receiving intellectual/spiritual information.\nSometimes you don’t know why you know something but you are absolutely certain that the information is true.  Channeling is one of the ways that the Universe delivers information to our intuition\, so it can be picked up intellectually.  That function is regulated by the Seventh Chakra.\n  \n  \nOpen to shiatsu practitioners and students\, and therapists of different disciplines.\n* Working knowledge of the meridians and vital points along the meridians is required.\n  \n3.
