The Foundations of Energy Alignment – online course

In his over 30 years of Shiatsu practice, Diego combines the teachings of Chinese Medicine and the Ayurvedic system, which are based on the concept of energy.
Both approaches are based on subtle energetic information gathered through our senses and our ability to do this accurately, depends on our internal energy alignment.
When we are aware of this, we can make our body a sophisticated instrument for “reading energy” and we will be able to conduct high-quality therapeutic and developmental sessions.
The course is organized with support of the Polish Shiatsu Association and consists of 8 online sessions (120 minutes each) in English with translation into Polish and covers the following topics:
Topics to be covered:
1. MAXIMIZING OUR PERCEPTION – Discovering energetic phenomena in ourselves and others.
2. HOW DOES INTUITION WORK? – What is your personal and unique way of connecting with your intuition.
3. TRANSLATING OBSERVATIONS – Organizing information into a coherent narrative.
4. DESIGNING A THERAPY PLAN – Using maps and theories from TCM, Zen Shiatsu, Quantum Shiatsu, and Ayurveda.
5. OBSERVING THE EFFECTS OF SESSIONS – Practical application of Shiatsu, acupuncture, qi gong, and meditation.
6. ADAPTING TECHNIQUES AS NEEDED – Flexibility in therapeutic work.
7. VERIFYING EXPERIENCES – Helping clients better understand their experiences.
8. CREATING A LANGUAGE OF COMMUNICATION – Enabling the client to express their own energetic perceptions and changes in a conscious way.

Diego supported rescue workers by using Shiatsu at Ground Zero immediately after the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
He has several years of experience working with patients after open heart surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
